I loved it and I hope he returns to write more stand alone novels like this instead of rewriting the same basic story over and over again in his newer Cross novels, the ones from a different generation. That said, sadly, I was interested to see where the sequel,Unsolved. View 1 comment. Showing Despite an exceptionally interesting premiss, the story was flat and pxtterson characters unappealing. He thinks that the key to win the case and find out the secret behind the nameless employer is related to the mystery of the disappearance of Audrey.
I can only hope she will develop some humility, and emotional intelligence! About the Author. I have heard such good things about him that I was excited to start this book. I will be looking for the Co author's books from now on.
