Social anxiety is a psychological disorder which has devastative and pernicious effects on interpersonal relationships and one's psychological flexibility. The issue in the room probably will be about whether the client is willing to have these thoughts when they occur and move in the direction of his or her chosen values, and the clientele you work with. I encourage you to alter the words and phrases in every exercise and metaphor within this book to suit your own sty.
